Description
Maanta anemometer
Maanta's anemometer is the best solution for protecting your sails from excessive wind and sun exposure.
The solar-wind sensor applicable to all our EasyRoll, Reef Roll and Easy Clear drop awnings in fact has an integrated solar panel. It works using the sun's energy and assists the opening and closing of your drop awning depending on the level of exposure of the awning itself to the weather.
Once set, it allows the tent to move independently in windy, sunny or rainy conditions.
The handy Wireless remote control allows you to control the movement of your roller shade via radio,
with a frequency of 433.92 MHz.
Down when it's sunny
The Maanta anemometer can be set to four different solar intensity scales, ranging from 0 to 100 klux.
Once set, when the intensity of the sunlight exceeds the intensity of the predefined level, the anemometer sensor sends signals to the motor of the drop-sail, which lowers it in a time lapse of about 2 minutes.
Up when the wind is blowing
The Maanta anemometer can be set to 3 different wind intensity scales, ranging from 0 to 180 km/h.
Once set up and connected to the motor of the drop-down awning, when the amount of wind exceeds the predefined level, the anemometer sensor sends signals to the motor sensor that closes the awning automatically.

Consisting of three hemispherical cups each mounted at the end of a horizontal arm, a small LCD display in the front area and a solar panel in the rear section, the Maanta anemometer detects the speed of the air mass when it encounters the horizontally positioned cups and rotates them.
Its integrated solar panel recharges the battery with energy from the sun.
The anemometer battery is constantly monitored by the integrated system. When the voltage is below 2.7V, a small battery icon lights up on the display to indicate low charge and the solar panel then recharges.
The LCD display screen remains active for a period of about 30 seconds, then switches off automatically without any pressure; the programme will continue to run.
To activate the screen function, any button (except the reset button) must be pressed.
The sensor can be fixed to the wall with the simple help of two screws included in the package.
