REEF ROLL custom size: modular outdoor roller shade with wire guides
Reef Roll standard is a roll up shade with stainless steel guidewires that can be installed on pergolas, porches, terraces, balconies. It is available in over 50 sizes and custom-made via the online configurator.
Reef Roll is ideal for eliminating the phenomenon of glare, the side cables allow you to adjust the height of the sheet, these act as a guide and support, in case of wind the sheet will remain vertical without creating danger.
Made with an enlarged roller, diameter 75 millimeters, and aluminum weight bar, it can withstand the worst weather conditions.
Available in two fabrics and numerous colors: Braidd5®and Purishade®-reduces the amount of solar heating by 85 percent. The first is a breathable microperforated fabric that can give airiness to the room. The second a waterproof but breathable fabric, also used in our shade sails.
Reef Roll standard is available in over 50 size combinations, from the smallest 150 x 150cm to 350 x 350 cm. You can choose from 13 sizes, 2 types of fabric and 10 different colours.

ROLLER WITH LARGE DIAMETER and WEIGHT BAR IN ALUMINUM
There are two secrets of this structure in which it differs from usual roller shades.
The first, an oversized roller and weight bar in aluminum, guarantee a solid and resistant structure over time.
The second the modularity, it will in fact be possible to add the motorization at a later time or still change the sheet to a transparent PVC for winter
MOTORIZABLE AND MODULAR
Optimal management of natural light and privacy is possible with endless manual or automatic adjustments. Reef Roll was developed modularly so that you have the option of adding motorization at a later date.
The built-in lithium battery motor does not require electrical wiring, it can be charged via a practical 12V power supply or by integrating a practical solar panel completely disconnected from the electrical system!
Thanks to the WifiBridge, we will be able to control everything from our Smartphone, also setting scenarios capable of making the tent go up/down at predefined times.
One charge is capable of performing more than 200 openings/closings with a single 6-hour charge*.

BENEFITS
INCREASED ROLLER DIAMETER
The extra sturdy roller of 75 millimeter diameter and aluminum thickness 2, is specially oversized to give stability and security even in bad weather.
WEIGHT BAR IN ALUMINIUM
The final weight bar which usually consists of a plastic tube has been replaced with a Made in Italy aluminum profile. This profile allows the awning to descend and keep it stable even in case of wind.
STAINLESS STEEL BRACKETS
The support brackts of the winder roller are made in Italy with 304 stainless steel and allow installation of the maneuver either on the right or on the left.
They can be installed on the ceiling or wall and allow installation in series.
EASYSWITCH®
The system allows you to replace the fabric, for example with a clear vinyl PVC for winter, in just a few seconds and without having to remove the whole roller and brackets.
MODULAR SYSTEM
If you are scared of costs but don't want to give up on quality, our modular system allows you to add the motor, the solar panel and many other accessories at a later date.

REEF ROLL: outdoor roller shade with wire guides
The Maanta research and development crew has always been attentive to customer
requests, thus creating the outdoor roller shades with cable guides. Its applications are on
pergolas, porches, glazed windows but also on terraces and balconies instead of the classic arm
awnings.
Reef Roll was born from the need to be able to keep the roll up shade half-height,
without fear that with a gust of wind it could end up on the window frames.
The roller profile has been specially designed and drawn by our research and development team.
It is made of aluminum, while the cables are made of stainless steel to avoid rust problems even
in very difficult conditions.
Reef Roll is sold complete with gear and crank manual opening and
closing. The motorization is optional and is only available on drop-down tents with a width of more than 80 cm.
According to the size, the cloths of the outdoor roller shades may not be a single piece. Any seams or welds of the fabric are made horizontally.

PACKAGE CONTENTS
Reef Roll includes all the accessories needed for manual operation (crank operation). This sales policy will allow you to have a complete product at home without strange surprises.
Despite this there are components that may not be needed; Maanta wants to minimize the impact of its products on the environment for this reason no accessories are included that would later be thrown away.

INCLUDED ELEMENTS
MAIN ROLLER
The winding roller is the heart of the system; with a diameter of 75 mm, it allows the winding of roll up screens with a maximum size of 400 x 350 cm.
FIXING BRACKETS
The roller support brackets are designed by Maanta and produced in Italy. Made of 316 stainless steel thanks to their modularity they can be fixed to the ceiling or perpendicular to the wall. They can also support compositions of two or more vertical blinds.
Weight bar
The weight bar is made in aluminium with a special Maanta design. It allows the roller shade to be very stable even in strong winds.
Side cables
The side cables are in 316 stainless steel, they are already supplied cut to size and allow excellent wind resistance.
Gear and crank
The gear allows the manual operation of the roller shade. The crank handel is 150 cm long and is included.
OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES
Numerous optional accessories are available, you can find them in the specific accessories category for roller shades.

Motorization 12 volts
Reef Roll can be equipped with a 12v M13x13LT motor with integrated lithium battery that allows you to manage up to 200 descent and ascent cycles. Charging can be done in a few hours via USB or via solar panel.
Solar Panel
Modular accessory that can be added at any time to recharge the motor of the vertical blind. Keeps the awning motor's built-in battery charged so you don't have to manually charge it.
Wi-Fi Bridge
Automate outdoor shades with Google Alexa and IFTTT. Check opening/closing times directly from your Smartphone! Thanks to the smartphone APP, you can create 'scenarios' with automatic opening/closing at pre-set times.
Motor Kit + Remote Control + Solar Panel
12v vertical awning motor kit with solar panel and remote control. Ideal for controlling the drop-down awning in total autonomy. The installation does not require masonry work to carry the current and no electrician
INSTALLATION EXAMPLES
Ceiling Mount (Undermount)
In this example Reef Roll was installed on the ceiling thanks to its modular brackets.
Face mount (surface / wall mount)
In this example, Easy Roll v2 was installed on a vertical wall (face mount) thanks to the modular brackets included in the standard equipment.
Multiple installation in series
The roller shades can be installed in series, leaving approx. 1 cm of space between one shade and another. The winches with operating rod, or optional motor, must be installed on the two external sides.

MAIN ASSEMBLY PHASES OF THE REEF ROLL FALL AWNING
1 - ASSEMBLING THE ROLLER
It is delivered disassembled so that the roller and each of its components can be easily transported even to the highest floors.
2 - ASSEMBLY OF THE TERMINAL
As with the roller, the weight bar must also be assembled using the included T-nuts.
3 - INSERTING THE FABRIC
Insert the fabric into the slot and into the take-up roller.
4 - INSERTION OF THE MOTOR (OPTIONAL)
Insert the motor (optional) into the winder roller, fix it using the supplied kit.
5 - CEILING AND GROUND FIXING PLATES
Fix the roller to the ceiling or wall according to the type of installation, once the upper part is fixed, lower the fabric and bring it perpendicular to fix the plates to the ground.
6 - TESTING AND INSPECTION
Test the sliding fluidity of the terminal in the lanyard, during the ascent and descent phases.
FAQ
How to measure vertical roller blinds?
All measurements refer to the complete awning with roller and fixing plates.
The fabric/PVC film is slightly narrower.
Here are the distances from the outside of the plate to the fabric for the various products (the distances are symmetrical on each side).
Easy Clear and Easy Roll without guide wires:
The fabric is overall 92mm (46+46mm) narrower than the complete structure.
Reef Roll with guide wires:
The canvas is 98mm (49+49mm) narrower overall than the complete structure.
The dimensions of the fixing plates are identical for all Maanta vertical blind models.
