Shade sails
Sails must be anchored at all corners. Once you have chosen the anchor points and measured their distance, you only need to follow the indications below to determine the size of the sail.
Minumum distance between the corner of the sail and its anchor point: 35cm
Maximum distance between the corner of the sail and its anchor point: 100cm
If you are looking for a custom-made shade sail, please check our our online configurator
*** Attention: in the configurator you can enter either the actual size of the sail or the distance between the anchor points. In the latter case, the system automatically calculates the correct size for the sail.

Sails, especially the waterproof one, must have an inclination in order to guarantee the correct drainage of water and thus avoid the formation of pockets which could deform the sail. The recommended slope is at least 25% of the length of the sloping side

Saill/Solaria sails are manufactured with an innovative and extremely efficient tensioning system. The perimeter straps are attached to the corner plates by adjustable buckles.
Practical example: the centre of the sail is under tension, the sail is "bulging". In this case, loosen the perimeter straps and relax the corners of the sail. The tension will now be directly in the centre of the sail.
