Zefira has been tested for over 15,000 open/close cycles – equivalent to more than six years of daily use. The materials are weather-resistant: stainless steel that doesn’t corrode, and Purishade® fabric that retains its colour and waterproofing. This motorised retractable shade sail by Maanta is built to last with minimal maintenance.
No. The 12V electric motor is very quiet. You’ll only hear a soft whisper during movement, nothing like the noise of a traditional motor. Maanta chose this low-voltage solution to ensure your automatic shade sail moves discreetly, without disturbing your moments of relaxation.
To best care for your motorised retractable shade sail, Maanta recommends FabriClean, the specialist cleaner for technical fabrics. Apply with water only, avoiding harsh chemicals or bleach, which could damage the waterproof Purishade® coating.

Yes, you can install multiple Zefira sails side by side. Each automatic shade sail has its own motor and remote control, allowing you to operate them independently or all together as needed. Maanta designs modular systems to expand shade coverage as your space evolves.
This motorised retractable shade sail requires poles specifically designed by Maanta, with plates tailored to the motorised connection system. If you have other poles, unfortunately they are not compatible with Zefira.
If you own Maanta Alu Simple poles, Zefira can be adapted using a dedicated compatibility kit. Contact the Maanta team, we’ll be happy to help you find the best setup.
