Kyma Horizon Custom light-filtering roller shade for indoor use

Kyma Horizon is a made-to-measure roller shade that filters light without shutting it out. In Greek, Kyma means wave, and that's the shape we chose for the painted aluminium fascia, which closes off the window in one continuous curve. Its light-filtering fabric, Horizon, with its horizontal stripes, makes the shade a good fit for living rooms, bathrooms, kitchens and any room that needs natural light all day long.

  • Filtered light, no view in from outside: the fabric lets through 19% to 44% of visible light, depending on the colour you choose.
  • Fascia and bottom rail in the same powder-coated aluminium alloy: solid metal, in six colours.
  • Horizontal-stripe fabric: the stripes come from thicker yarns that catch the light. Four colours, order fabric samples.
  • Can be motorised: the motor recharges via USB-C and is controlled by remote control or voice assistant.

WARNING – CHILD SAFETY: The chain represents a potential strangulation hazard for children. Keep the chain out of reach of children. Do not place cots, beds or furniture near the roller shade: children could climb up and reach the chain. Do not tie knots in the chain. Correctly install and use the safety devices included (chain tensioner and safety hooks), following the instructions. The chain tensioner must be fixed to the wall with slight tension. The chain must remain at least 1.5 m from the floor.

Horizon doesn't block light, it filters it. With the blind down, the room stays bright with soft, diffused light, because the fabric lets through 19% to 44% of visible light depending on the colour. If you need darkness, take a look at the Blend Blackout and Canvas Blackout fabrics.

The size of the blind and how you choose to operate it. Our design service is free and helps you decide both.
