The motorised Recta blackout roller shade is made-to-measure, blocks light completely and works with a remote control or voice assistant. The Recta fascia has a geometric profile, a clean line that matches square window frames. The blackout fabric, available in the Blend and Canvas ranges, makes it a good fit for bedrooms, children's rooms and home cinema rooms.

  • A completely dark room: Maanta Blackout ranges have 0% light transmission.
  • Quiet motor with a USB-C rechargeable battery: weeks of battery life with normal use.
  • Remote and voice control: one multichannel remote controls up to 15 shades, and with the WiFi Bridge (optional) the shade responds to Alexa and Google Home.

Darkness doesn't depend on colour

Our blackout fabrics are two-sided. At the front is the decorative face, with the weave of the collection you choose: Blend, irregular like tree bark, or Canvas, orderly like a painter's canvas.

For the back, we chose a white layer instead of a black one, because it reflects more of the heat that reaches the glass, so the room warms up less than with a dark backing.

It's the two layers together that block the light, not the colour, which is why every colour has 0% light transmission.

WARNING – CHILD SAFETY: The chain poses a potential strangulation hazard to children. Keep the chain out of reach of children. Do not place cots, beds or furniture near the blind: children could climb up and reach the chain. Do not knot the chain. Install and use the safety devices supplied (chain tensioner and safety hooks) correctly, following the instructions. The chain tensioner must be fixed to the wall with slight tension. The chain must stay at least 1.5 m above the floor.
