Shade sails
Landa is the outside corner bracket that turns the corner of the house into an anchor point for your shade sail. The L-shape spreads the pull across two sides of the wall, and the welded tab holds it in the direction the sail pulls. You mount it on concrete or solid masonry, and the sail stays taut all season.

On sailing ships, the chainplate is the steel plate that connects the shrouds — the cables that hold the mast upright — to the hull: small in proportion to the load it bears, it works in silence through every tack. This bracket takes its name from that component because it does the same job on your home: it holds the shade sail at the corner of the wall, with the tension absorbed by the steel.

This bracket takes its name from that component because it does the same job on your home: it holds the shade sail at the corner of the wall, with the tension absorbed by the steel.
The 8 mm tab is welded at 45° on the corner, in the direction the shade sail pulls: the load works in the direction where the steel is strongest.
The 90° shape wraps around the corner and distributes the tension across two sides of the wall, rather than just one as a flat plate would.
Two holes and two U-shaped slots with a 70 mm centre-to-centre spacing: the bracket slides onto pre-set bars without millimetre-precise alignment.
AISI 304 steel withstands rain, sun and salt air without rusting, even in coastal environments. Polished and brushed finish.
Rounded corners with a 10 mm radius protect hands and ropes. A detail you notice every time you adjust the shade sail.
The carabiner's included: hook on turnbuckles and the Muscle kit to tension the shade sail, the same hardware as Maanta's wall plates.

AISI 304 stainless steel bracket for external corners, anchoring the shade sail to the corner of your house. The tab is welded in the direction of tension.
Sturdy quick-release carabiner that connects the corner of the shade sail to the bracket's tab.
To create an anchor point for the shade sail on the outer edge of your home, where there is no flat wall to use and no space for a pole.
When the corner of the building is the strongest and closest point to the shade sail: the L-shaped bracket distributes the pull across two sides of the wall instead of just one.
No. Landa is a fixing accessory: the shade sail is purchased separately.
It is compatible with all the shade sails in our catalogue. It is not compatible with wall-profile shade sails (Lean).
The basic version includes just the bracket with a quick-release carabiner; the other adds 4 stainless steel threaded rods for fixing.
One for each corner of the shade sail that you want to attach to an edge. The other corners are fixed with wall plates or poles.
AISI 304 stainless steel: it stays outdoors all year round without rusting.
It is the designation for a stainless steel grade suitable for permanent outdoor exposure, including in coastal areas.
The plate is 6 mm thick; the hooking bracket is even thicker, at 8 mm.
Because that's the direction the shade sail pulls: the load works within the plane of the steel, never across the weld.
They let you slide the bracket onto bars that are already fixed in the wall – no need to align four blind holes to the millimetre.
Natural steel, polished and brushed.
Yes, it is suitable for saline and coastal environments too.
The final holding capacity depends on the wall and the injection mortar used. The steel has a tensile strength of at least 515 N/mm²; for more demanding projects, get in touch with our free design service.
Using injection mortar and threaded rods, on concrete or solid masonry.
No. The tension of a shade sail requires injection mortar fixings: this is the only way to achieve the holding strength designed for the most demanding sail fabrics.
No: external wall insulation is a thermal panel and does not provide sufficient grip for the tension of a shade sail. A solid masonry wall or concrete surface is required.
In the dedicated version, yes: 4 stainless steel threaded rods, already included in the pack.
It depends on the angle you want to give your shade sail. Our free design service will help you determine the ideal fixing points and heights.
